Larus Park

We’ve been blessed with Spring warmth in the midst of a Virginia Winter, which means instead of 40 degree temps we had several days recently in the 70’s!  Last Sunday wasn’t quite that warm but still a very pleasant day for a jaunt in the woods.  I strolled thru Richmond’s new Larus Park – full of deciduous trees, a boulder-bounded creek, and a pine forest on one of the bluffs.  Very pleasant.

  1. What a nice setting for a meditative hike! I want to go for a bike ride today, but may not have time…lot’s of lesson prep to do plus a sketching class jaunt to the Skirball. Ah, for 36 hours in a day!
