Sequoia

We went to Sequoia National Park today!  Refreshingly cool, pine scented, inspiring – immortal trees, great boulders, overall great experience.  Nature’s Cathedral. Here’re a few snaps, courtesy of Deb’s MAC.

I have vague memories of camping in Sequoia National Park when I was four years old, way back in the last century, with my family and several bears intent on clawing their way into our aluminum ice chest.  Or maybe I’ve just heard the story so many times!  I do remember looking way way way up into the trees.  That hadn’t changed.
