Saturday was Bag Day – when a group of us quilters get together out in Bruington for lunch and a day of quilting, as I’ve mentioned in earlier posts. The weather was lovely, and Spring was popping up all over! I spent most of my quilting time assembling a daisy quilt for Lily, with able consultation from the group. Such a help to have a design wall to work with! It’s now in batt awaiting my machine quilting efforts.
After lunch Paula, Susan, Debby and I took a walk thru the apple orchard down to the pond while Maren and Beth chatted back at the studio. Then Beth told me about the bird’s nest in the Harry Lauder’s Walking Stick bush – can you see recycled horse hair and plastic?!
