When the children were little, they’d ride with their Dad along Riverside Drive, where on ocassion they’d see turtles in the road that they’d stop and rescue. So the three of them called this route ‘Turtle Watch’. The Dad and I drove down there early this week to catch some photos along the James – beautiful views! You may recognize a couple of these as similar to the Blue Muse Quilt – couldn’t get the same viewpoint due to the high water and icy bank. I was pleased to note that the recent flooding has washed away the large logs that were jammed on the pothole rocks.
Snow is finally starting to melt – we even have sand on our street this morning! And the mail got thru yesterday, after a 3-day storm delay. More Christmas cards to enjoy!
Happy Holidays to you all!
