Richmond Folk Festival

Here’re some photos from the Richmond Folk Festival, a wonderful fun time here in town a few weeks ago. I helped out with the quilt exhibit – around 20 quilts from our six local chapters of the Richmond Quilters Guild. They were spaciously hung in a long tent, with plenty of room for each of the chapters to have a table.

The weather was absolutely lovely – sunny and cool, the best of a Virginia Autumn. Music acts from all over were presented on multiple stages, with activities for all ages. Delicious delectable scents of barbecue, Chinese, fish, and more wafting over all.

If you weren’t one of the 200,000 people that came out this year, put it on your calendar for 2012, October 12-14. Hope to see you there!
